Project Aim
The PROCISMO project aims to investigate the key slag properties required for the recovery of critical and strategic metals (including copper (Cu), lead (Pb), antimony (Sb), and tin (Sn) ) during the slag-cleaning process based on molten slag electrolysis. In parallel, the project focuses on tailoring the resulting slags for further valorisation and reuse.
By improving the understanding of slag behaviour and process performance, PROCISMO will provide crucial insights into the effectiveness and efficiency of slag-cleaning technologies, while also assessing the suitability of the final slags for construction and building applications.
